Bar Ilan University

Bar-Ilan University, founded in 1955, was one of the first comprehensive research universities to be established in Israel.  From 70 students to 17,000, its milestone achievements in the sciences and humanities have made an indelible imprint on the landscape of the nation.  The university has 8 faculties: Jewish Studies, Medicine, Engineering, Law, Life Science, Exact Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities.  These faculties are active partners in national science and technology initiatives.

Simon Fraser University

Simon Fraser University, named after the late 18th century explorer, is located in Canada on British Columbia’s west coast and opened on September 9, 1965 with 2,500 students. Now boasting three vibrant campuses in British Columbia’s largest municipalities — Vancouver, Burnaby and Surrey, Simon Fraser University has 30,000 students, 6,500 faculty and staff, and 130,000 alumni.

Sorbonne University

Sorbonne University is a multidisciplinary and research-intensive university with world-famous origins. German Cancer Research Center

The German Cancer Research Center (Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum, DKFZ) in Heidelberg is a bio-medical research institution and a foundation under public law. Its 3,000 employees investigate in over 90 divisions and junior groups how cancer develops and which factors influence cancer development. On the basis of these results, they develop new approaches in the prevention, diagnosis and therapy of cancer.

Leitat Technology Centre

Leitat Technology Centre aims at Managing Technologies to create and transfer Social, Environmental, Economic and Industrial sustainable value for companies and entities through research and technology processes. From our state-of-the-art facilities, we are collaborating with more than 45 countries and developing more than 215 projects in the sectors of: Biotechnology, Health, Advanced Materials, Industrial Chemistry, Renewable Energies and New Production Processes.

INESC TEC

INESC TEC is a private non-profit research institution, dedicated to scientific research and technological development, technology transfer, advanced consulting and training, and pre-incubation of new technology-based companies. INESC TEC hosts over 700 integrated researchers (about 350 PhDs), including staff researchers, researchers from Higher Education Institutions, grant holders and affiliated researchers. INESC TEC’s team also includes trainees, and technical and administrative support staff.

University of Haifa

The University of Haifa is a developing and dynamic institution with a world-renowned reputation in many different fields of research, and it is the leading University in Israel in the fields of the Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Welfare and Health Sciences, Natural Sciences, Education and Management.  The University was selected by the Council for Higher Education to lead the field of Marine Research as well as the field of Education in a Networked Society.

University of Oslo

University of Oslo has 8 National Centres of Excellence and a strategic focus on interdisciplinary research in the field of energy and life sciences in particular. It is one of the World’s Top 100 universities, according to the Shanghai World Ranking. With five Nobel Prize winners, UiO has a strong track record of pioneering research and scientific discovery.

Ascora

Ascora GmbH is a medium-sized IT-company with locations in Lower-Saxony / Northern Germany.  Ascora has broad experience in creating highly scalable and cloud-based systems including messaging, data management and the handling of big data aspects. Because of its large user base, servers of Ascora currently manage more than 200 mio messages each month.

MedGenome

MedGenome has a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) facility in California that houses sequencing platforms such as Illumina’s NovaSeq, HiSeq X, HiSeq 2500, and the MiSeq, In addition to its wet-lab capabilities, MedGenome has built proprietary solutions to enable pharma and biotech companies accelerate their early drug discovery pipeline as well as aid in biomarker discovery for their companion diagnostics programs.

Infinidat

10X Genomics

10X Genomics is building tools for scientific discovery that reveal and address the true complexities of biology and disease. Through a combination of novel microfluidics, chemistry and bioinformatics. 10X Genomics’ award-winning Chromium System is enabling researchers around the world to more fully understand the fundamentals of biology at unprecedented resolution and scale.

Beilinson

Beilinson and Hasharon Hospitals are the two long standing hospitals that help to comprise the ​Rabin Medical Center. Beilinson and Hasharon Hospitals recently received international accreditation for safety and quality standards from JCI (Joint Commission International) a most prestigious organization for evaluation of health care organizations. Since its establishment Rabin Medical Center served as a model for new standards in medical treatment and has been a leader in the use of new technologies.

Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris

Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris is the university hospital center of the Ile-de-France region. Its 39 hospitals welcome 8 million people every year: This includes consultation, emergencies, and scheduled hospitalizations or hospitalization at home. It provides a public health service for all, 24 hours. The AP-HP is the largest employer in Ile-de-France. More than 100,000 people – doctors, researchers, paramedics, administrative staff and workers work there.

Oslo University Hospital

Oslo University Hospital is Norway’s largest hospital with over 20 000 employees and a budget of 17 billion NOK. We are a local hospital for parts of Oslo’s population, regional hospital for the population of South-East Norway, and have a number of domestic functions. Oslo University Hospital is responsible for the majority of medical research and the training of healthcare personnel in Norway.
